Question by Kristen (1 month ago): Hello, my name is Kristen Knight, I am a property manager of several small apartment buildings right behind the Headstart child care at Benjamin M Priestly Center. I of course understad that kids need play and I know that with the age group that receives services there - giving verbal instruction might be tough - but I'm now on my third tenant to move out because the 'outside play time' for those kids is so intense it's simply unbearable. My office is here and I hear it daily too - and I can only describe it as non stop, multi-kid, blood curdling screaming the whole time they're out there. This most recent move out broke their lease their second day in the building because of how this noise affected them. Again, I know kids are kids, but is there anything that could be done to help bring it down a little? It is truly wild the volume and type of screaming that myself and so many tenants are hearing. I wouldn't mind for just myself and I'd deal with it - but it's affecting our ability to keep residents living here and that's costly. If there's any discussions that could be had or attempts made to just get it a little more bearable and community aware it would be so very appreciated. Thank you
